說明：自古以來生物辨識在人類文明中一直有著舉足輕重的地位，不論是在各種社交場合、政商會談、乃至安全檢查與通緝文宣，都存在著辨識需求。隨著近代科學的發展，這些辨識技術從最初的主觀認定，慢慢發展至步伐、聲紋、臉部、指紋、虹膜、……等客觀認定，進而大幅提高辨識系統的準確度與便利性，目前已被廣泛使用在各種場合中。在過去十年，敝實驗室亦成功開發出臉部與虹膜辨識系統，並技術轉移給校外公司，現存有一展示型於實驗室中。

Description ： Biometrics plays one of the most important roles in civilization due to the requirements of biometrics authentication in social occasion, airport, and wanted notice. As the development of technologies, the accuracy and convenience of biometrics has dramatically improved owing to objective features such as voice, gait, face, fingerprint, iris, and so on. Today, related applications are everywhere in our lives. Over the last ten years, we were grateful to have chance to develop a multimodal biometric system, which had been transferred to industry. The prototype is demonstrating in our laboratory.
