Ph.D Program of DoP

• Entry requirements

  • Proof of academic excellence (top 30%) with the potential of research capability or other special achievements: transcript of academic performance, papers published;

  • At least two recommendation letters.

• Period of Study

  • Full-time student: 2-7 years

  • Part-time student: 2-8 years

• Graduation Credits

  • 18 credits

• Compulsory Courses

  • Required subjects in the doctoral program：Colloquium (required for two semesters), Optoelectronics (I), Optoelectronics (II).

  • required for each semester: Independent Study

• Graduation Requirements

  • Pass the examination of Ph.D thesis proposal in two years after entry;

  • Publish journal papers at least five points.

• Other Requirements

  • Electrical and Computer or Two English courses Elective of our motors College or language center courses.

  • Pass the English ability test for Ph.D students of the College of attend class A international academic seminar and present essays orally in English once or attend a non-class A international academic seminar and present essays orally in English twice.
